March World Mission Drive

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors" (Matthew 24:33).

I am 45 years old and I have never seen society erode as quickly as it has these past few years. The liberal leaders of our government have unmasked themselves and are bent on changing our culture forever. According to the Bible, they will succeed and, sadly, things will only get worse. Some nations and areas will be affected at a different rate, but, in the end, all will be affected. Eventually, there will be no place to run for peace and quiet, except to the Lord and His House.

In the early 1900's, my grandparents emigrated from Ireland to the United States in search of a better life and they found it. But, things are different now. The world is plunging into sin rapidly and we cannot escape its terrible effects. Each day that passes will bring more unease with our surroundings. To make it to heaven we will all have to come to the realization that this world is not our home and live accordingly.

"As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings: So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him" (Deuteronomy 32:11, 12).

If God had left the Israelites in Egypt any longer, they may have succumbed to the evil influence of the society around them. The same may be true with us. Thus, let us say and believe with the apostle Paul, "For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come" (Hebrews 13:14).

It is time for us to get uncomfortable with this world and for the world to get uncomfortable with us. It is time for us to lift our voices against sin and for the good news of Jesus Christ. Fighting the governments of this world will not change the sin problem, but fighting the devil will. As passionate and generous as many are for political causes, let us be more so for Jesus Christ! It won't be long, we are almost home, don't leave anything undone for any soul! Thank you for your prayers and for your generous giving that impacts souls all over the world.
