"For we are labourers together with God" (1 Corinthians 3:9) is the admonishment which Paul gave to the saints at Corinth. God continues to call servants into His vineyard to conduct His ministry on earth.
Each of these men and women has been appointed by the General Overseer to serve in the particular fields of labor. Throughout the world their ministry is helping to spread the message of Christ and His Church.

Selected by the 101st Annual Assembly in 2006, Stephen E. Smith serves as General Overseer of The Church of God. Prior to receiving this divine appointment, Brother Smith served as State/Regional Overseer in Virginia, West Virginia, and Colorado.

Kevin Werkheiser has served The Church of God in the capacity of General Treasurer since October 2004. Prior to being appointed to General Headquarters, he served as the State Overseer of Florida. Brother Werkheiser also serves as the Office Manager.
