A family usually spends about thirty minutes to an hour per day in family devotions teaching their children the way of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through His Holy word. If a family spent thirty minutes per day in devotion, that would equate to one hundred eighty-five and a half hours per year. However, in this fast moving society, a family would be fortunate to have half this time. Many teenagers and children, unfortunately, receive no training in the Lord due to the parent's lack of relationship with the Lord.

Imagine if there was an opportunity to spend fifteen hours a day for one week with a child, giving them the love, grace, and mercy that Jesus gave the children that He commanded His disciples to suffer unto him. This would include teaching Biblical values, spiritual unity, and the grace of God through classes, counseling, play, and worship service. This would equal ninety plus hours in one week of undivided spiritual attention by the best spiritually-minded teachers, evangelists, and counselors available. This is the miracle of the youth camp ministry.
