Announcements Regarding the Upcoming Assembly

The 111th General Assembly is rapidly approaching, and we are anticipating a great outpouring of the Spirit of God. In making preparation for the upcoming assembly, please consider the following announcements:

  1. Ridgecrest Conference Center now has dedicated shuttle stops to make moving around the campus simpler! These shuttle stops are labeled on the campus map and will be given to each guest at check-in. Shuttles can no longer be scheduled by phone for pick up or drop off.
  2. The Centennial Eatery is no longer available as a dining option. Clouds Coffee Shop will be offering muffins, pastries, salads, and sandwiches. The smoothie shack will have pizza available; however, these options will only be available for limited hours and in limited quantities. From 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM each night, hamburgers, sandwiches, chips, etc. will be available in the dining room for purchase. These choices are not included with pre-paid meal tickets.
  3. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the annual WMB Luncheon has been cancelled. Please do not forget to bring items for the mission craft table and clothes closet!
  4. Anyone preparing presentation material for the Assembly is asked to consider the Media Department Guidelines. Please submit any materials for presentation by the deadline. If you have any questions, please contact the media department.
  5. All song leaders and special singers are asked to submit their song and musician information as soon as possible to facilitate the worship services.
  6. Meal times are as follows: Breakfast from 7:15-8:15 AM; Lunch from 12:00-1:30 PM; Supper from 5:00-6:30 PM.
  7. Nibble Nook will be open daily featuring ice cream, pizza, hot dogs, etc. Check with the front desk for daytime hours. It will also be open nightly from 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
  8. Children’s Assembly will be held daily from 1:45-3:45 PM. Parents, please register your children daily beginning at 1:30 PM in Lambdin Auditorium.
  9. All Parade of Nations participants should meet upstairs in Spilman Auditorium immediately after the Wednesday morning session. Practices will be held Thursday during the lunch and supper breaks in Spilman Auditorium. Please be mindful of these practices and clear the auditorium as soon as possible at the end of these sessions.
  10. The BTI Choir will meet on stage immediately following the Wednesday morning session. All BTI alumni are invited to sing.
  11. The World Mission Choir will practice during the supper break in Lambdin during the Wednesday and Thursday evening supper breaks.
  12. Small church flags and new merchandise will be available in the lobby on Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 PM.
  13. The WMB Ladies Choir will practice during lunch in Lambdin on Friday.
  14. The Clothes Closet is in the Exhibit Hall. It will close on Saturday at the lunch break.
  15. The Women’s Missionary Merchandise Table is located in the annex. Please come find your treasure and give to a worthy cause.
  16. Those participating in the ordination service, please meet behind the stage on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM.
  17. The VLB Workshop will be help upstairs in Spilman Auditorium at 1:00 PM on Saturday.
  18. The VLB Band will practice on stage Friday and Saturday during the supper breaks.
