Hurricane Damage Reported in Central America

North America

Hurricane Eta was a devastating Category 4 hurricane with top windspeeds of 150 MPH that wreaked havoc across parts of Central America in early November 2020.  Approximately 2 weeks later, Hurricane Iota descended upon the Atlantic as a Category 5 storm with top windspeeds of 160 MPH.  Two of the hardest hit areas were Honduras and Nicaragua.  General Headquarters has been in communicaton with our Overseers in these countries, and we  thank the Lord that there has been no loss of life.

However, there has been damage to the homes of our brothers and sisters (as you will see in the videos) and crops which will affect the brethren economically.  Please remember all of the brethren in Central America in your prayers and if you feel led to help, please send your love offerings marked “Hurricane Relief – Central America” to General Headquarters and we will see that it reaches those in need quickly. Thank you for your giving and may God bless you.
