Hurricane Irma Relief Fund

North America

Numerous calls have been received by General Headquarters inquiring on the condition of church members, friends, and properties in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma which had a significant impact on the Caribbean and southeastern United States.

The following reports of damage have been received by the World Mission Department:

Turks & Caicos Islands

Whitby Church – Shingles were torn off of the roof. Estimated damage is approximately $200.00.
Bottle Creek & Providenciales – The roofs was torn off the church buildings where they were renting. Each church must raise the funds for the first and last month’s rent. The approximate cost to finding a new place is $800.00.

Dominican Republic & Haiti

Contact has been made with National Overseer Juan Pimentel, and we are currently awaiting a damage assessment report.

Puerto Rico

Damage assessment reports from National Overseer Hiram Vazquez are not currently available.  Additional details will be posted as they are available.
