Brother Hiram Vazquez, National Overseer of Puerto Rico, shares a brief message regarding the situation in his country following the recent hurricanes.
Update: (September 28, 2017; 3:45 PM EDT) Additional reports were received from the island of Puerto Rico. Many are struggling to find the basic necessities such as food, clean water, and batteries for flashlights and radios.
At this time, very few Post Offices are open on the island, and many roads impassable; therefore, sending these items will be improbable. In light of this, the most important thing they need are our continued prayers. God can reach these suffering people even though we cannot.
General Headquarters set up a relief fund to give assistance as soon as it is possible to wire money to the affected areas.

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour…” (Isaiah 43:2, 3).
