“Wah Gwaan? Whap’am?”
Translated from Jamaican Patois – “What’s going on? What’s up?” The Church of God World Mission Department is headed to Jamaica! The Jamaica Mission Team Trip will occur July 12-19, 2017.
Hosted by Bishop George C. Forbes (National Overseer) and Carlton Brown (Pastor), the main activities will consist of several days of open-air street services in various communities in and surrounding the city of Mandeville. There will be street witnessing, singing, music, testimonies, preaching, and praying for souls! Bring your instruments and a heart filled with the love and power of the Holy Ghost.
The approximate cost for the Jamaica Mission Team Trip is $1,250. This covers air transportation from Atlanta and food, hotel, and ground transportation while in Jamaica. A deposit of $650 is due by June 1, 2017 to cover the purchase of plane tickets.
Applicants must be saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost, and faithful members of The Church of God. A passport valid at least six months beyond the dates of the trip is required. No visa is necessary for travel to Jamaica. For international trips such as this one, the minimum age is eighteen unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
