Ministry
Overview

The Assembly Band Movement is the department of pastoral care, and its purpose is to ensure each member of the local congregation is provided with proper care and discipleship.

To accomplish this task, small ministry groups convene in prayer meetings, Bible studies, and other encouraging times of fellowship. Each activity is intended to encourage and unify the believers.

Every member of each local church is important, and the Assembly Band Movement diligently labors to strengthen each one. This includes the church’s ministry. The Assembly Band Movement also honors the ministers and works to keep those who labor for us encouraged and motivated to continue the work of the Lord.

Theme

In 1 Corinthians 12:12, Paul compares the physical body to the membership of the Church, and the need for unity for the good of the entire body. Unity is the state of being one.

Let us pray for one another, love one another, care for one another, encourage one another, and serve one another – for we are members of His Body.

Help for Those in Need

Floods, hurricanes, avalanches, tornados, or fires can happen almost anywhere at any time. The Assembly Band Movement helps victims of these and other disasters by encouraging every Church member and friend to contribute five dollars annually to the Emergency Fund.

This fund helps local churches when tragedies occur that cannot otherwise be financially managed.
