Ministry
Overview

The Assembly Band Movement is the department of pastoral care, and its purpose is to ensure each member of the local congregation is provided with proper care and discipleship.

To accomplish this task, small ministry groups convene in prayer meetings, Bible studies, and other encouraging times of fellowship. Each activity is intended to encourage and unify the believers.

Every member of each local church is important, and the Assembly Band Movement diligently labors to strengthen each one. This includes the church’s ministry. The Assembly Band Movement also honors the ministers and works to keep those who labor for us encouraged and motivated to continue the work of the Lord.

Theme

Philippians 1:27 calls us to "stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel." This is a picture of God’s people standing shoulder to shoulder—united in purpose, unwavering in conviction, and moving forward as one.

When we stand together in the Spirit, the enemy cannot divide us, and the gospel advances with strength and boldness.

Help for Those in Need

Floods, hurricanes, avalanches, tornados, or fires can happen almost anywhere at any time. The Assembly Band Movement helps victims of these and other disasters by encouraging every Church member and friend to contribute five dollars annually to the Emergency Fund.

This fund helps local churches when tragedies occur that cannot otherwise be financially managed.
