HYPE 2025 Held in Cleveland, TN

What a weekend! Over 200 gathered for HYPE 2025 under the powerful theme, “Established.” From start to finish, the Holy Ghost was present to stir hearts, encourage the weak, and establish this generation in the truth.
Friday night set the tone with a stirring message from Brother Joshua Farthing. Preaching under the anointing, he challenged the youth not only to be established with grace but to move beyond a surface-level zeal into a deep, rooted knowledge of God. Using the Old Testament story of Ahimaaz, the young man who ran without a message, he urged young people to seek substance before seeking a platform. “Don’t ask for a license until you’ve got something to say,” he warned. This charge was both sobering and inspiring. That message sparked a serious spirit of reflection and readiness among our youth that would carry throughout the weekend.
Saturday was packed with learning. We hosted three blocks of four elective-style classes, with 12 teachers pouring into our young people through biblical, practical, and anointed teaching. Every classroom was filled with engaged and excited students. The feedback from the youth was overwhelming: they felt challenged, strengthened, and grateful for the investment of time and truth from each instructor. Many came away testifying that they felt ready to go home and witness to their friends now.
After lunch, we moved into a two-hour Q&A session where 25 questions were asked, and Bible answers were given. This wasn’t simply a time for questions and answers. It was a genuine moment where the youth felt heard and understood. Questions ranged from doctrine and ministry to personal struggles and practical holiness. Our panel didn’t just offer answers; they offered sincere care and wisdom for our youth.
Saturday night, I had the privilege of preaching on the theme “Established in the Faith,” drawn from Acts 16:5. Just as the churches were established through “the decrees for to keep” delivered from Jerusalem, our youth must be established in the doctrine of the Bible as interpreted by the General Assembly. The altar service that followed was unforgettable. After a good, long time seeking God, no one rushed back to their seats. Songs of praise continued spontaneously, and wave after wave of worship flowed through the room. It was clear: walls that had been built up for years against God and His Church were being torn down by the power of the Spirit and the Word of God. I watched as young people who once resented the Church now lifted her banner and sang of her beauty. Who but God can do such things as these?
But the highlight of the weekend came on Sunday morning, as our General Overseer, Brother Oscar Pimentel, delivered a message that I will never forget. Preaching with urgency and conviction, he called this generation to be established in the present truth—the very truth that has been handed down to us, not through cunningly devised fables, but through the sure Word of God. The congregation was on its feet for the final 15 minutes of his sermon, not out of mere formality or respect, but because we were moved by the power and desperation in his voice. Brother Pimentel reminded us that it’s not enough to have been taught the truth; we must cling to it and rejoice when it is brought to our remembrance, even if we’ve heard it a thousand times before. That is what will keep us from falling.
The altar filled quickly after the message, and the response from our youth was undeniable. With lifted hands, tear-streaked faces, and sincere prayers, they sought God with fervor and earnestness—and He met them. Some rededicated their lives. Others felt a clear call to deeper commitment. Many walked away established in a way they hadn’t been before.
From the classes to the altar calls, this HYPE weekend wasn’t just another event; it was a divine appointment. God is raising up a generation not easily shaken, not easily swayed, but rooted, grounded, and established in the truth.
To every teacher, leader, musician, and young person who came hungry and left changed, “Thank you!” God is doing something mighty among our youth. Let’s hold to the sure Word, and let’s continue to be established therein.
