International Ladies Retreat Held in Frazier Park, California

With over 80 in attendance, ladies gathered from the West Coast to attend the International Ladies Retreat at Mountain Pointe Campground in Frazier Park, California. It was a perfect setting among the picturesque mountain views, the fresh air, and the beautiful pines reminding us of God’s handiwork displayed in His creation. The theme was “UNSTOPPABLE WOMEN” and each lady was encouraged to tap into the power of God where the Lion of Judah can work through them, making them an unstoppable force He can use! Jeff and Missy Wilcox served as our “chefs” for the weekend, preparing excellent meals for the ladies to enjoy! Friday night, Sister Prince delivered an anointed message on being the woman God created her to be in a world that has distorted the meaning of womanhood. On Saturday morning, Charlotte Dixon began our day with a timely devotion on allowing nothing to stop us from doing the duties God has placed upon us. The morning devotion was followed by Vivian Campbell, who delivered an inspiring workshop on “Woman, God’s Perfect Design,” where the altar was filled with ladies desiring to be all God intended them to be. Victoria Griffin then delivered a seed thought on “Soaring to Unstoppable Heights,” where she interviewed pilot Amy Hoskins about how it feels to soar above the clouds, referring to how prayer will take us higher and higher with the Lord! Our morning session also included craft time with Amy Hoskins where the ladies enjoyed using their creativity to design their own, personal zipper bag. Our usual fun-filled auction was with auctioneer Janet Talley, where $1,300.00 was raised to support the International Ladies Retreat! Praise the Lord!

Aside from the fun, each evening, Janet Talley led us in Spirit-filled worship that blessed our ladies and invited the presence of God. The Saturday evening message was delivered by the General WMB Coordinator, Sharon Griffin, where she preached on a “Hero’s Faith,” and how women of faith are unstoppable! Several of our precious West Coast ladies served as interpreters and did an excellent job! Much appreciation to our TAP Group Leaders: Reyna Alvarez, Mage Hernandez, Adriana Trujillo, Vivian Campbell, and Victoria Griffin. Many thanks also to Brother Jose Panchame, who served as our media coordinator and was a great help in many ways to the Retreat! Sunday morning came quickly, but we left the West Coast International Ladies Retreat determined to be Unstoppable Women for God!
