Lion of Judah Roars throughout the International Ladies Retreat in Pigeon Forge

The Lion of Judah roared throughout the Eastern Regional International Ladies Retreat as the wind of the Holy Ghost swept mightily through the room on Saturday night. When Pentecost fell, women seeking the Holy Ghost were instantly filled with the glorious gift, while others were being delivered from the enemy’s power, healings were taking place, and others were receiving salvation. It was glorious! Approximately 135 ladies were present, with many testifying it was their first time to attend an International Ladies Retreat. 

Sister Janet Talley led the worship, where God moved many times during the singing. Messages were brought by the WMB General Coordinator and by Sister Connie Wilson. Sister Griffin preached on “The Sickle in the Hand of a Spirit-Filled Worker,” while Sister Wilson preached that there must be a roar to be unstoppable, how little quiet prayers aren’t enough, but we must get back to praying in the Spirit and under the power of the Holy Ghost (roar). Sister Keila Bañuelos began our Saturday with a morning devotion on holiness and modesty. Sister Vivian Campbell taught on “God’s Design for Women,” ending her workshop with the song, “In the Garden,” where the sweet Spirit of God was present, drawing the ladies to the altar for a time of prayer. Sister Victoria Griffin taught on “Soaring to New Heights with God,” where she interviewed a real female pilot (Sister Amy Hoskins), and then had us fly our airplanes in the lobby. Sister Amy Hoskins met with the ladies for craft time, and each one enjoyed creating a canvas bag with the Unstoppable logo on it. 

Thank you to Sister Liz Denard and her assistants, who worked so faithfully in serving as our interpreters during the Retreat. Brother and Sister Wilcox prepared delicious meals for the ladies while Brother Christopher and Sister Sarah Anders ran our sound system and media. Both couples greatly bless International Ladies Retreat, and their dedication is appreciated so much!
