Church Members, Ministers, and Friends Unite for Nigerian National Convention

To the glory of God, the 2025 National Convention (held May 30 – June 1) brought together brethren, ministers, and guests from various assemblies and locations across the nation to experience divine impartation through worship, the Word, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.

The convention served as both a solemn call and a joyful gathering, reminding us of our unwavering confidence in the name of the Lord amidst the changing tides of our times. From the opening moments to the final session, God’s presence was felt in mighty and miraculous ways, confirming His promise to be where two or three are gathered in His name.

Program Overview and Spiritual Highlights

The convention began with a Ministers and Workers meeting, which laid the spiritual foundation for the days ahead. This session was marked by heartfelt exhortations, prayer, and revival-focused teaching that stirred both leaders and workers to rededicate themselves to the service of God with integrity, humility, and fervor.

Throughout the course of the convention, members and invited guests were immersed in a spiritually enriching schedule that included praise and worship sessions, messages, drama ministrations, congregational hymns, and Scripture readings. These moments were Spirit-filled expressions that ministered deeply to the hearts of those present.

The Word of God came powerfully through various ministers; each message anchored in the convention’s theme. The message in Psalm 20:7 was echoed repeatedly that we must not place our trust in worldly systems, achievements, or human strength, but in the eternal name of the Lord our God. These messages rekindled the fire of faith, convicted hearts, and inspired many to renew their covenant walk with Christ.

Special segments such as the Womens Missionary Band boost, Victory Leaders Band boost, and Regional Church reports (including from Ondo and Lagos) were also included in the program. These sessions provided insight into the ongoing efforts and progress of the Church across different arms of ministry, while also encouraging accountability, vision-sharing, and collaboration among brethren.

Testimonies shared during the convention bore witness to the faithfulness of God. Stories of healing, deliverance, restoration, and divine provision were told with joy, stirring faith in others to believe God for their own breakthroughs.

Workshops and breakout sessions offered interactive learning opportunities for spiritual growth, practical discipleship, and leadership development. Children were also not left out, as a special Children’s Church was held, ensuring that the younger generation was nurtured in the Word and engaged meaningfully.

The convention also included moments of corporate prayers, altar calls, and healing ministrations, during which many came forward in surrender and were ministered to. The atmosphere of unity and hunger for God was tangible.

One of the high points of the convention was the Worship Service held on Sunday. During this service, new appointees were prayed over, and the National Overseer delivered closing instructions, blessings, and a charge to all attendees to go into the world and preach the gospel.

Impact and Testimonies

The spiritual impact of the convention cannot be overstated. More than 20 Souls were saved, many also rededicated their lives to Christ, and many left with renewed purpose and commitment to the Lord. The clear focus on remembering and honoring the name of the Lord revived hope in the hearts of many who had come burdened or weary. The Word that went forth will continue to bear fruit in the days and years to come.

We return all glory and honor to God for the success of the 2025 National Convention. The organization, the attendance, the spiritual encounters, and the unity among brethren all bore evidence that the hand of the Lord was upon the gathering.
