At the 118th General Assembly, our General Overseer, Bishop Oscar Pimentel, appointed two new committees for the Assembly Tabernacle project. We now have three committees operating, each with a specific focus.
1. Tabernacle Exploratory Committee.
The TEC was left in place by our General Overseer to finalize the remaining land acquisition on Benton Pike. The Chairman of this committee is Tim Griffin.
2. Tabernacle Advancement Committee.
The TAC is focused on fundraising for the Tabernacle. They will also be the primary source of communication to the field between Assemblies through social media, The Evening Light, and the Tabernacle web page. They will provide updates on fundraising efforts and construction progress. The Chairman of this committee is Rob Montgomery.
3. Tabernacle Building Committee.
The TBC is responsible for all phases of construction on the property, as well as plans, permits, and any other required paperwork. Tim Griffin is the chairman of this committee.
